SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative

Looking for an opportunity to grow your small business and succeed in your field? The U.S. Small Business Association is looking for candidates in February for it’s SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative.  It’s a 15 session federal training initiative available to entrepreneurs who fit certain criteria.

The free program is seven months long, and valued at $10,000. Participants work with experienced mentors, attend specialized workshops and develop connections with their peers, city leaders, and the financial community.

Podcast host Mary McCarthy spoke with Shannon Feucht of the Columbus, Ohio office of the U.S. Small Business Association, and with Bob Ross of Professional Consulting Associates. He is an instructor with the SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative.
